Support Our Students – PSO’s Largest Fundraiser –  Feb. 21 to March 9, 2018.  All donations, large and small, go to support programs at Edmonds Woodway High School.  This year we’ve approved 16 grants ranging from buying books for the library (doubling our grant from last year), supporting after-school tutoring programs, buying a camera for the new EWHS newspaper and so much more.   Help us reach our fundraising goal of $15,000 so we can continue our support of teachers and students at EWHS.  Students will be competing to win a class pizza party for their English class.  The class with the highest participation will win a party, highest total donations will break a tie.                                                                                                                                              Thank you for your support!        Tax ID # 91-1190652         Printable Form

Princeton Review – Fundamental Prep Course – The PSO is offering two courses at EWHS beginning in April 2018.  Both classes would concurrently – April 21-May 20.  The course is instructed by a Princeton Review teacher and includes six 2 1/2 hour classes, 3 practice tests and online study materials.  All practice tests and classes will be held at EWHS.  Cost of the course is $450.  The payment deadline is March 16.  Early registration and payment will help us determine if the class is able to be held.  Refunds will be given if the class does not fill.

Warrior Word –  Did you know that EWHS has a new school newspaper?  The newly formed Journalism Club has begun publication of the Warrior Word.  Students are writing articles, creating video and generating a source of information for the entire school.  The PSO recently funded a grant for $700 to help the Journalism Club purchase a camera.  Follow the link above to find out more about what is going on at EWHS.

Welcome to the EWHS Parent Staff Organization website.  The PSO works to make every students time at Edmonds Woodway High School a positive and enriching experience.  We  do this in several ways:

  • Through our grant process, we are able to fund needed “extras” for our students and staff.  This year we have given a grant to the library for books, paid for a magazine subscription for the science department and given a grant to the counseling department to help students in need.  In addition, we helped fund the reupholstery of the library chairs and the upcoming replacement of the gym sound system.   Grant Request Log
  • We sponsor practice StartUp tests and full practice SAT/ACT tests.  The practice tests help students experience college entrance exams without the pressure of it “counting”.  Taking practice tests can help determine strengths and weaknesses, improve their overall test score and gain a degree of comfort with taking the test.  College Practice Tests
  • Recognizing teachers and staff with appreciation luncheons several times a year.  The first appreciation luncheon will be in November.
  • Parent University – An opportunity for parents to attend an informative night geared towards helping answer questions about raising a safe and successful teen.   Parent University  Thank you to everyone who attended the 2017 Parent University.
