January Teacher & Staff Appreciation

Baked Potato Bar Appreciation Event
Monday January 27th

With the current vibes around your home, you’re already aware we are days away from finals week and end of the first semester of the 2024-25 school year. Students are the only ones feeling the crunch during this time, as our staff are working long hours to administer and review finals, close out student grades for the term and get the second semester off to a great start.

To help keep them fueled during this long week, we are hosting a Baked Potato Bar on Monday, January 27th as part of our ongoing appreciation PSO Staff Appreciation Program. Your help and gesture of gratitude is a meaningful way to remind them how valued they are by our community.

In Memory: Eyner Alexander Morales

We are mourning the tragic death of Freshman class member, Eyner Alexander Morales, who died on New Year’s Eve in a senseless act of gun violence. Our hearts are with Eyner’s family, friends & classmates as they work through their grief and loss.

If you’d like to help Eyner’s mother, Leydi Patricia Rosales, with his memorial and funeral please consider contributing their ‘Go Fund Me’ campaign.

Additionally, if you have ideas on how our PSO community can remember and honor Eyner , or support our EW students through this tragedy, please reach out to the PSO and we will share your ideas at our upcoming meeting.

Please join the PSO in the fight against hunger in our school community by supporting our annual Joy of Giving fundraisers. We are asking for your support to help provide a special meal, gas card, and other much-needed supplies for students and families in need.

Your donation will allow these families to celebrate the holidays when they otherwise may not. The Parent Staff Organization (PSO) works closely with the Family Resource Advocate to collect donated funds for this program.

This year we would like to raise $5,000 to be shared among those most in need.
