Edmonds School District is grappling with major budget challenges as we plan for the next academic year, and unfortunately compromises must be made. To guide District leadership, they are once again offering the ‘Balancing Act’ tool where you can review various potential solutions and share your preferences.

Support Our Students: Help LSU Dress for Success!
At Edmonds-Woodway High School, we believe that opportunity and confidence go hand in hand. This March, our Latino Student Union (LSU) members have the exciting opportunity to attend Latino Legislative Day in Olympia, where they will meet policymakers, engage in discussions about civic leadership, and represent EWHS with pride.
To ensure they make the best possible impression, students are required to wear business casual attire. However, many students face financial barriers when it comes to securing the appropriate clothing. That’s where you—our EWHS community—can make a difference.
How You Can Help
We are asking for donations of new or gently used business formal and business casual attire for both men and women. If you or your student have outgrown dress clothes, or if you have extra professional attire in your closet, please consider donating.
Donation Details
📍 Drop-Off Location: EWHS Main Office
📅 Deadline: Friday, March 7th
👔 Items Needed: Business formal & business casual clothing for students of all sizes
Any clothing not used by LSU students will be donated to Clothes for Kids, a local organization helping students across our community access the attire they need.
Why This Matters
For many LSU students, this trip is their first experience at the Washington State Capitol, where they will see Latino leaders in government and gain inspiration for their future careers. One of the event’s key speakers, Lillian Ortiz-Self, has been a mentor and role model to many, proving that representation matters. By donating, you’re helping students step into these opportunities with confidence and professionalism.
Let’s rally together to ensure that every student attending feels proud, prepared, and empowered. Thank you for being part of this Warrior community!
💜💛 Donate today and help fill our “closet of opportunity” for EWHS students! 💜💛

Pi Day Classified Staff Appreciation
We’re getting an early start on “Pi Day” and celebrating the amazing classified staff at Edmonds Woodway. Classified staff are the dedicated “non-teacher” professionals who do everything from keeping the literally lights on, the hallways clean, coordinating with district administration and other organizations to get the resources & funding our students & teachers need and so much more.
If you’d like to be part of the celebration of appreciation, consider providing:
- Your Favorite Pie (Homemade or Purchased)
- Pie Topping
- A Donation to Fill in Any Missing Pieces
