Quick update for those looking for details on ticket refunds for the 2025 Winter Ball, here’s the communication we’ve received from the Olivia Bianco, ASB Coordinator for EW:.

“Hi Jamie,

Refunds will be issued to all who purchased tickets. Please note, we cannot issue refunds at the ASB window. We will notify parents via ParentSquare about the cancellation and provide them the option to decline a refund if desired. Otherwise, we will automatically begin the refund process for all payments.

Refunds will follow district policy: card transactions will be credited back to the card, and cash or check payments will be refunded via check to the parent. We will process these refunds as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding!

A short time ago, I received this message from the ASB Coordinator at EWHS:

“Unfortunately, we were unable to secure more staff chaperones or sell enough tickets, and with so many teams traveling for sports, the dance has officially been canceled. Please pass along our gratitude to the PSO for all their support—ASB truly appreciates this partnership!

I will share more information about refunds tomorrow. Looking ahead, we have our Spring Fling tentatively scheduled for April 26th. Our junior class will take the lead on planning and organizing this event, with support from their class advisors and me.”

On behalf of the PSO, thank you to those who immediately stepped up offering to volunteer and/or donate supplies to this event. Our apologies for any inconvenience for this last minute cancellation.

We’ll reach out to you with future opportunities to help the Students & Staff at EWHS as they become available.

We’ve faced an uphill battle this year fundraising to provide grants to teachers & students in our school, as well as recruiting new members to help us serve our school community. We’ll take about the challenges and discuss potential solutions.

We’ll take about the current grant requests we’re receiving, and how to handle them especially if we’re not able to raise funds.
