As parents, we all want the best for our children, and a critical part of that is ensuring our schools are adequately funded to provide the quality education they deserve. Right now, our school district is facing significant financial challenges that could affect the resources available for students and teachers. That’s why we’re inviting all parents, educators, and community members to attend the Education Funding Crisis Town Hall on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

This important event, hosted in collaboration with neighboring districts, will provide a platform for open discussion about the current funding crisis. The Town Hall is an opportunity for parents like you to voice concerns, share ideas, and help identify solutions that will benefit our children and the future of education in our community.

Here’s why your participation matters:

  1. Hear from Education Leaders: Local school officials and education experts will share key insights into the funding challenges our district is facing and how they could impact our schools. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and gain a better understanding of what’s at stake.
  2. Your Input is Vital: As parents, we know our children’s needs better than anyone. The Town Hall is a space for you to provide feedback on how budget constraints are affecting students and to advocate for the changes needed to support their learning and well-being.
  3. Shape the Future of Our Schools: Our collective voices have power. By attending and participating, you can play an active role in shaping decisions that will impact not only your child but also the entire community. Now is the time to come together, stand up for education, and help guide the future of funding for our schools.

We understand that parents have busy schedules, but this is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the education system that serves our children. Please join us on October 23, 2024, for this critical conversation. Let’s work together to ensure that every student in our district has access to the best education possible.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and schools. We hope to see you at the Town Hall and look forward to hearing your valuable input!

PSAT Volunteers: Our Juniors need your support!

📣 Calling all parents! Our Juniors need your support! 🙌 Without volunteers to serve as test monitors for the PSAT on Wednesday, October 30th, from 7 AM to 12 PM at Edmonds Woodway High School, we won’t be able to hold this crucial exam. Whether you can monitor the whole time or just part of the exam, your help is vital! Just a few hours of your time can make all the difference in our students’ futures. Let’s come together to help them succeed! 💪🎓 Sign up today and be a part of their journey!

We need at least 4 monitors at all times… we’re offering:

– 4 Full Shifts (7a-930a)

– 4 Early Shifts (7a-930a)

– 4 Late Shifts (930a-12p)

We’re hoping with all these slots we are can get at least 6 so there is some margin in case of illness or emergency.

If the specific partial shift times don’t work for you, please email us EWHSPSOPresident@Gmail.com to let us know what will work, and we’ll be as flexible as we are able able. ***
